 | | FELIPE DOMINICANA Especiale R | Country: DR | Manufacturer: Felipe Gregorio | Size: 4 3/4 x 54 | Filler: DR | Binder: Nic | Wrapper: Ecu | | Panelist #1 | This is a pleasant indoor smoke that won’t offend, but is probably not for the robust crowd. Breakfast special. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | I’ve been looking for a perfect-sized lunchtime smoke, and I think I may have found it. Good for daytime. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | Nothing special, IMO. This would be a nice mid-morninger, while hitting some golf balls or mowing the lawn. MAY RECOMMEND | | Panelist #4 | Despite its apparent youthfulness, this one’s got more than meets the eye. If it’s priced right, it’s mine! RECOMMENDED |
 | | OLD POWDER KEG Lancero | Country: USA | Manufacturer: Connecticut Valley | Size: 6 3/4 x 42 | Filler: Nic | Binder: Conn | Wrapper: Nic | | Panelist #1 | This stick would complement a glass of port or cup of coffee equally well. Good and rich, but not outstanding. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | Nothing to brag about, but this smoke would make a good breakfast cigar with a big cup of Joe. Decent. MAY RECOMMEND | | Panelist #3 | It’s not anything I would be breaking down doors to get to, but it’s pleasant. With some age, I’d try it again FAIR | | Panelist #4 | For the herfer who likes a rich smoke, this one is worthy of quiet contemplation. I’m buying some. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | MACANUDO Tudor Cafe | Country: DR | Manufacturer: General Cigar Co. | Size: 6 x 52 | Filler: DR/Mex | Binder: Mex | Wrapper: Conn | | Panelist #1 | I could smoke this day in, day out. Even momma would like the smell of this one. My favorite of the bunch. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | A morning smoke with coffee, or perfect after lunch; it’s never overwhelming. Satisfaction all the way! RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | Its light flavor accompanies chardonnay nicely; too light for my tastes. Others might enjoy it, though. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | Deny these to the in-laws! A great cigar for a long morning on the deck, with a newspaper and java. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | DON TOMÁS Special Edition Corojo 554 | Country: Hon | Manufacturer: U.S. Cigar Sales | Size: 5 x 54 | Filler: Nic/Hon | Binder: Mex | Wrapper: Hon | | Panelist #1 | Not as strong as the billowing white smoke would suggest, but a great smoke nonetheless. I need a box! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | Nothing to complain about, but this just seemed like your average, everyday cigar. Take it to the links. MAY RECOMMEND | | Panelist #3 | This might turn into a decent breakfast cigar with some aging. As it is, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. FAIR | | Panelist #4 | A perfect poker-night cigar. The consistency means you can focus on your hand and savor the flavor. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | BAHIA GOLD No. 2 | Country: Nic | Manufacturer: Bahia Cigars | Size: 6 x 54 | Filler: DR | Binder: DR | Wrapper: Ecu | | Panelist #1 | Sign me up for a few boxes! A well- thought-out blend of tobaccos, aged to perfection. Pair with a lemonade. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | This flavor bomb can be smoked indoors or out, and went really well with a pint of dark, creamy porter. MAY RECOMMEND | | Panelist #3 | A good smoke for anyone, from a novice to a hardcore Cuban smoker. Not what I expected in the least. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | I would definitely recommend this to the discriminating smoker. A great special-occasion cigar. RECOMMENDED |

 | | PARTAGAS Seleccion Privada No. 1 | Country: Cuba | Manufacturer: Habanos SA | Size: 6 3/4 x 43 | Filler: Cuba | Binder: Cuba | Wrapper: Cuba | | Panelist #1 | A classic “cigar smoker’s cigar,” perfectly matched with a vintage port in front of a roaring fireplace. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | This is a cigar that seems ideally suited to a top-shelf rum. A looser roll would make it near-perfect. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | There seemed to be more flavor complexity here, but the tight draw wasn’t capable of bringing it out. MAY RECOMMEND | | Panelist #4 | I’m looking forward to finding out what these are. Such a great thrill-ride of a cigar is rare these days! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | BUCANERO Churchill | Country: Nic | Manufacturer: Bucanero Cigars | Size: 6 7/8 x 48 | Filler: DR/Nic | Binder: Nic | Wrapper: Ecu | | Panelist #1 | All of the samples were consistent and seemed to get better and better as they burned. I would buy them. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | Good and spicy. It could be a little more full-bodied to complement the spiciness, but solid and consistent. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | A middle-of-the-road cigar; not unpleasant, but nothing to write home about. Others will enjoy. MAY RECOMMEND | | Panelist #4 | You could enjoy these just about anywhere. Nice flavor, but the best part was the calming aftertaste. RECOMMENDED |
 | | AMERICAN STOGIES Maduro Robusto | Country: Nic | Manufacturer: Indianhead Sales | Size: 4 3/4 x 52 | Filler: Nic | Binder: Nic | Wrapper: Nic | | Panelist #1 | A beautifully crafted end-of-the-day smoke. For those who enjoy a fuller smoke, make these your go-to cigar. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | A mesquite T-bone dinner, and a rich ruby sipping port paired nicely with this guy! As hearty as it gets! RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | I would have preferred a firmer cigar, but to its credit, it never softened after lighting. Lacked complexity. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | This is the kind of cigar I’ve spent my life looking for. Very agreeable. Where can I get my hands on these? HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | ZINO PLATINUM SCEPTER SERIES Shorty | Country: DR | Manufacturer: Davidoff | Size: 8 1/4 x 50 | Filler: DR | Binder: Conn | Wrapper: Ecu | | Panelist #1 | A cigar that’s too small to truly inspire, but just the right size to kill a craving. I’d keep a box on hand. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | A good break in the day, but it could benefit from some time in the humidor to mellow out that finish. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | Depending on the price, I would buy some of these. The smoke fills a room nicely despite the cigar’s size. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | A Scotch helped bring out this one’s subtle vanilla flavor. It’s small, but robust enough for after dinner. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | PERDOMO ESTATE SELECCION MADURO Prestigio | Country: Nic | Manufacturer: Tabacalera Perdomo | Size: 6 x 55 | Filler: Nic | Binder: Nic | Wrapper: Nic | | Panelist #1 | This is definitely my kind of cigar! I could smoke these morning noon and night. Goes great with a Beck’s. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | This is an after-dinner cigar, best enjoyed with a well-aged port or even a Cola. I’d definitely buy these. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | Save this one for after an indulgent meal, and pair it up with that good aged beverage you’ve been saving. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | With your favorite five- bean blend in hand and one of these babies, this is a match made in heaven. RECOMMENDED |
