 | | CHUBBYS Chubby Long | Country: DR | Manufacturer: Crown David Int'l | Size: 7 x 60 | Filler: DR | Binder: DR | Wrapper: Conn | | Panelist #1 | This fabulous cigar is perfect to enjoy with good friends after a great meal. Worth it at any price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | Despite its massive size, I would recommend this one for everyday smoking. All samples were great. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | This intimidating cigar requires a tall order of time before you tear into it. But you’ll sure be glad you did. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | Its size may cause some folks to shy away from it, but if you have two hours or so, it’ll reward you. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | NICARAO Robusto | Country: Nic | Manufacturer: Tabacalera Tropical | Size: 5 x 52 | Filler: Nic | Binder: Nic | Wrapper: Nic | | Panelist #1 | Except for the burn problem, this one was fairly consistent in its quality and taste. I’d go for one again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | Not a bad blend, albeit not too complex. I’d like to try this cigar at a larger size, where it can open up. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | This cigar was a fairly pleasant distraction. I might take it on a fishing trip or to the golf course. MILDLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | This cigar was the perfect size and character for an evening break on the patio. Try it with some rum. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | GRAYCLIFF ESPRESSO President | Country: Bah | Manufacturer: Graycliff Cigar Co. | Size: 7 x 48 | Filler: Hon/Br/CR | Binder: Ecu | Wrapper: Costa R. | | Panelist #1 | Any Habano would be proud to have this type of flavor. It started on the pole and finished the race first! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | I found this to be a cigar well-suited to fishing or doing outdoor work. Not sure I’d hand it out to others. MILDLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | Quality’s consistent in the samples. A good one to reach for when you’re looking at a long, lingering dessert. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | A man’s man’s cigar, with a hint of refinement. Its bold flavors are well-suited to complement a brandy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | OLIVEROS XL FOR MEN XL/60 | Country: Nic? | Manufacturer: Habana Cuba | Size: 5 3/4 x 60 | Filler: Nic/Hon/DR | Binder: Conn | Wrapper: Braz | | Panelist #1 | I don’t even like large cigars that much, but this one was unmistakably great. It’s worth your time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | This is why I smoke cigars. This beautiful stick commands attention and the amazing flavor backs it up. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | This one is a great after-work cigar, and would be a safe bet as a gift to any cigar-loving friend. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | Quite simply, one of the best cigars I’ve ever smoked. A magnificent smoking experience. I want more. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | SAVINELLI ELR #6 Robusto | Country: DR | Manufacturer: Savinelli, LTD | Size: 5 x 49 | Filler: DR | Binder: DR | Wrapper: Conn | | Panelist #1 | Uncork a bottle of Penfold’s shiraz, light this up, and drift away. The semi-sweetness was appealing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | Despite virtually no finish, this is a great smoke. I’d buy these for anytime I felt the urge to go mild. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | Not too complex a smoke, but an acceptable mild cigar that would work well for early in the day. MILDLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | A special occasion cigar that should satisfy a seasoned smoker and make cigar convert out of the newbie. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |

 | | VEGAS DE FONSECA Sobrinos | Country: DR | Manufacturer: MATASA | Size: 5 1/4 x 50 | Filler: DR/Nic | Binder: Conn | Wrapper: Cam | | Panelist #1 | Some inconsistent samples kept this one from greatness, but it’s definitely a quality, age-worthy smoke. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | Ignoring its unglamorous appearance, this is a great “first cigar of the day.” It’s solid and tasty. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | A good choice for a “quickie,” or with your favorite single malt. Keep a few in the car for short trips. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | A mellow, enjoyable smoke for those times when a stronger, fuller smoke just wouldn’t be appropriate. RECOMMENDED |
 | | BUCANERO Classico Churchill | Country: Nic | Manufacturer: Bucanero Cigars | Size: 6 7/8 x 48 | Filler: DR/Nic | Binder: Ecu | Wrapper: Conn | | Panelist #1 | This cigar gets my wholehearted endorsement, especially to those who are partial to a good maduro. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | This one followed up a steak dinner nicely. It’s an everyday cigar, and some age might give it more depth. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | This cigar did not disappoint with its bold, Nicaraguan-style blend. it pairs nicely with a post-dinner espresso. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | I spent a very pleasant hour in my den with this wonderful cigar and a glass of Remy Martin. Excellent. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | CUSANO CC Robusto | Country: DR | Manufacturer: Dom Rey Cigars | Size: 5 x 50 | Filler: DR | Binder: Mex | Wrapper: Ecu | | Panelist #1 | This lunch-sized robusto matches well with both single barrel bourbon and a rich, Brazilian coffee. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | Those more concerned with full body than perfect construction will appreciate it more than I did. MILDLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | I found the second half of this cigar to be consistently more bitter than the first. Age may mellow it. FAIR | | Panelist #4 | Not a lot of complaints here. I can see myself enjoying this one by the pool with a nice, cold beer. RECOMMENDED |
 | | ADAN Y EVA Figurado | Country: DR | Manufacturer: Cuban Desire | Size: 5 x 50 | Filler: DR | Binder: DR | Wrapper: Conn | | Panelist #1 | Complex and powerful, without the knock-your-head-off power kick. It reminds me of a good Davidoff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | The cigar has the makings of a star, but may be a bit too fresh. It could improve with a nap in the humidor. MILDLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | A decent choice for early in the day, with a cup of joe. There are much worse “starter” cigars out there. MILDLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | A lot of flavors developing here. Buy a box and age them so these excellent flavors can marry properly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
