Accompanied by Scots mates Iain Slinn and Finn McCool - now those are names! - my journey begins north and west of Iverness. We travel among green hills dotted with prim, Presbyterian-gray villages; shaggy, Brahma-horned cattle and garron ponies that peer over stone walls, and that hardy Scot - the sweater-making sheep. Four hundred thousand Highlanders to 4 million sheep and counting....
