 | | PUROS INDIOS MAXIMA RESERVA Churchill No. 48 | Country: Hon | Manufacturer: Puros Indios | Size: 7 x 48 | Filler: DR/Nic/Braz | Binder: Ecu | Wrapper: Ecu | | Panelist #1 | This cigar was highly enjoyable, and even novice smokers would be able to appreciate it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | Appearance was poor, but construction was good; the flavor could develop with some humidor time. MAY RECOMMEND | | Panelist #3 | If the cost isn’t too high, this would be a great cigar for the golf course or for a fishing trip. MAY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | Tasty and satisfying; once you get past its looks, it goes great with a Colombian coffee in late afternoon. RECOMMENDED |
 | | PERDOMO-2 Ecuacion | Country: Nic | Manufacturer: Tabacalera Perdomo | Size: 4 7/8 x 50 | Filler: Nic | Binder: Nic | Wrapper: Cam | | Panelist #1 | I was grateful I’d eaten a steak before lighting up this bad boy. A blockbuster; I’d buy it at any price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | I enjoyed two of these around a campfire, with a strong brown ale. I want more of these small wonders! RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | This cigar is spicy, but not too much so. A good after-dinner smoke when you want one on the heavy side. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | Remarkably consistent, these cigars had a distinct, rounded flavor that was complemented by strong coffee. RECOMMENDED |
 | | RAMON ALLONES Ultimo | Country: DR | Manufacturer: General Cigar Co. | Size: 6 1/2 x 49 | Filler: Nic | Binder: Conn | Wrapper: DR | | Panelist #1 | I would reach for this as a “morning cigar” to go with my first cup of coffee. It’s excellent for a novice, too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | Even with a few construction flaws, This one’s character and balance make it an ideal “all day” smoke. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | This mellow, even-tasting cigar would be appropriate for any time or place, even for occasional smokers. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | Although it’s on the milder side, it had very complex flavor. It’s good for the morning, with a cup of joe. RECOMMENDED |
 | | MACBETH Malcolm | Country: DR | Manufacturer: Swisher | Size: 7 x 48 | Filler: DR/Mex | Binder: Mex | Wrapper: Conn | | Panelist #1 | This is a nicely built cigar, with uniform quality, one you’d be proud to offer to someone you respect. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | This is a well-constructed stick with a tasty, scrumptious aroma. Fans of lighter cigars will like it a lot. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | Not the sort of smoke to meditate upon, but light enough to start the day. These are good morning cigars. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | I have a new appreciation for mild cigars. This top-notch stick makes for a great breakfast or lunch. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | BUCANERO EL CAPITAN RESERVA Peg Leg | Country: Nic | Manufacturer: Bucanero Cigars | Size: 5 x 50 | Filler: DR/Nic | Binder: Ecu | Wrapper: Costa R. | | Panelist #1 | I couldn’t wait to smoke the rest of the samples, so I didn’t! I would buy a trainload of these cigars! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | The aftertaste got a little bitter at the end; other than that, I’ve got no complaints about this one. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | Some humidor time should make this petit belicoso live up to its promising looks and construction. MAY RECOMMEND | | Panelist #4 | My kind of smoke. Just the right size and flavor to follow up a steak dinner, alongside a good single malt. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |

 | | PUNCH Punch | Country: Cuba | Manufacturer: Habanos SA | Size: 5 5/8 x 46 | Filler: Cuba | Binder: Cuba | Wrapper: Cuba | | Panelist #1 | This well-balanced cigar paired up nicely with an amber ale on a warm summer evening. I’d look for these. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | Construction is not perfect, but the flavors are relatively consistent. It works with coffee or whiskey. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | I’d try ‘em again; the tasty flavors in this stogie almost make it worth the headache-inducing draw. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | Very consistent. The flavor stays with you, and for a cigar that tastes like this one, that’s a good thing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | CIELO Zeus | Country: Nic | Manufacturer: Corona Cigar Co. | Size: 7 x 54 | Filler: Nic | Binder: Nic | Wrapper: Ecu | | Panelist #1 | The inconsistent burn was irritating but the flavor rewards you for the extra work. Send me more! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | A delicious cigar, but the makers must roll them looser. These could become a truly great meal-finisher. MAY RECOMMEND | | Panelist #3 | I’d recommend these for a good outdoor smoke. A good cigar for a barbecue or fishing, perhaps. MAY RECOMMEND | | Panelist #4 | This consistent cigar is ideal for relaxing on your own with, and equally suited to impressing guests. RECOMMENDED |
 | | PENTHOUSE SELECTION Churchill | Country: Hon | Manufacturer: Player's Club | Size: ? | Filler: DR/Hon/Nic | Binder: Hon | Wrapper: Hon | | Panelist #1 | This cigar was awesome! From light-up to the last puff, I was wishing I had more of these to smoke. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | This is a nice-looking cigar whose flavor didn’t live up to the billing. Other palates might enjoy them. FAIR | | Panelist #3 | This is a solidly built cigar, but the leaf used to build it seems a little young. Give it some box time. MAY RECOMMEND | | Panelist #4 | I almost want my wife to give birth just so I can hand these cigars out to friends and family. Almost! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | AVO 22 | Country: DR | Manufacturer: Davidoff | Size: 5 7/8 x 50 | Filler: DR | Binder: DR | Wrapper: Ecu | | Panelist #1 | This would be a good morning cigar, and with a little more age, it could be an awesome smoke anytime. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | It reminds me of a Domaine Avo. This is an easygoing smoke that would pair nicely with a merlot. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | This cigar was on the milder side, but it had character. I would reach for one of these after lunch. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | I had one after dinner, but it’s better after lunch. I would buy a box of these but I wouldn’t give any away! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | CUBAN PAREJO Belicoso Fino | Country: Nic | Manufacturer: Tabacalera Perdomo | Size: 6 1/2 x 60 | Filler: Nic | Binder: Nic | Wrapper: Nic | | Panelist #1 | Not as scary as its girth implies, this is one smooth smoke. Get a bigger humidor for these if you need to! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | This one looked great, but I’d give it some time in the box. Till then, I’d have one outdoors with yard work. FAIR | | Panelist #3 | I smoked this cigar with a strong Belgian ale after a hearty lamb dish. It’s a great after-dinner companion. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | This smoke was a fine finish to a long day. I smoked one with a Macallan 25 and it hit the spot. RECOMMENDED |
