 | | CIENFUEGO Engine No. 7 | Country: Hon | Manufacturer: Puros Indios | Size: 7 x 48 | Filler: Nic | Binder: DR | Wrapper: Ecu | | Panelist #1 | The tobacco gods are smiling on me this day! This cigar may be too much for the novice, but great for us vets! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | The cigar would go well with either a Lagavulin Islay Scotch or a young, expressive California Cabernet. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | All the samples were consistent. This is a smoke to spend some quality time with... along with a whisky. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | This is a very well-balanced stick with character. It’s a good one to sit down with for an hour or more. RECOMMENDED |
 | | BUCANERO “Z” | Country: Nic | Manufacturer: Bucanero Cigars | Size: 6 x 50 | Filler: DR/Nic | Binder: DR | Wrapper: Indo | | Panelist #1 | I didn’t want this one to end. Here’s a cigar to savor alongside a glass of very good red wine or aged port. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | I enjoyed this cigar, but I couldn’t home in on anything “special” about it. It would be good with a coffee. MILDLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | A good cigar for Friday night poker with your friends. Make sure to serve it up with a stronger beer. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | I would prefer this cigar in the morning; it would be a great way to start off the day. Just enough “oomph.” RECOMMENDED |
 | | PUNCH GRAN PURO Sierra | Country: Hon | Manufacturer: General Cigar Co. | Size: 6 1/2 x 48 | Filler: Hon | Binder: Hon | Wrapper: Hon | | Panelist #1 | An extraordinary smoke, especially paired with a Maker’s Mark neat. I will assuredly add these to my stash. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | An afternoon-evening smoke, perfect with a good beer, either on the golf course or in front of a big screen. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | Seems like this cigar isn’t quite ready for prime time, despite potential. Some age should shape it up. MILDLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | I found this cigar to be very enjoyable overall. This is a good one to light up on the back nine. RECOMMENDED |
 | | C.A.O. CRIOLLO Bomba | Country: Nic | Manufacturer: C.A.O. Cigars | Size: 6 x 50 | Filler: Nic | Binder: Nic | Wrapper: Nic | | Panelist #1 | Halfway through smoking this I had to pour myself some cognac to complete the exceptional experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | A fantastic smoke; this one gets everything right. I’d recommend it to any smoker, regardless of taste. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | A good challenge for a novice smoker; veterans may want more complexity. Great with non-spicy food. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | Not a cigar for an empty stomach. After a good steak or lobster, this would make a perfect dessert. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | JOYA DE NICARAGUA ANTAÑO 1970 Robusto Grande | Country: Nic | Manufacturer: SAG Imports | Size: 5 1/2 x 52 | Filler: Nic | Binder: Nic | Wrapper: Nic | | Panelist #1 | A truly enjoyable smoke, this one would match up nicely with a cold martini. It’s heavy but pleasant. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | A well-rounded cigar, some aging would make it even better. This will complement your favorite whiskey. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | It’s a winner in the taste and construction categories; mellow out the finish a bit and we have a champ. MILDLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | A solid smoke that I would buy in a heartbeat! Great now, probably magnificent with some aging. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |

 | | PERDOMO ESTATE SELECCION Cameroon Regente | Country: Nic | Manufacturer: Tabacalera Perdomo | Size: 5 x 54 | Filler: Nic | Binder: Nic | Wrapper: Cam | | Panelist #1 | Where can I get another? This is a nearly flawless cigar. It’s well-suited to any after-dinner cocktail. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | This cigar did a number on the back of my throat, overwhelming some of the enjoyment. Give it some age. MILDLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | This cigar was tasty and full-flavored without being overpowering. I’d offer it to a veteran smoker anytime. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | Much better than I guessed from its looks. It would go down easy with a glass of Oban or another single malt. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | PUROS INDIOS Rothschild | Country: Hon | Manufacturer: Puros Indios | Size: 5 x 50 | Filler: Nic/Braz/DR | Binder: Ecu | Wrapper: Ecu | | Panelist #1 | I would recommend this one to all fans of strong, full-bodied smokes. I am eager to learn it's identity. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | This would make a good afternoon smoke to linger over with a good friend and a good beer. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | Well done! A great Friday afternoon cigar to end the week and make that transition from work to play. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | A true gentleman’s cigar. This one was most enjoyable with an after-dinner Scotch or Cognac. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | BIKER’S BLEND Robusto | Country: Nic | Manufacturer: Pecunes | Size: 5 x 50 | Filler: Nic | Binder: Nic | Wrapper: Nic | | Panelist #1 | An attractive cigar with no real bad qualities; some more strength and gusto might come with some age. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | I’d describe this cigar’s character as neutral. Those who are looking for that type of smoke will like it. FAIR | | Panelist #3 | Takes a little too long to get to the real flavor, but when you get there it ain’t bad. Maybe work on the blend. MILDLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | A good companion to a glass of Jack Daniel’s. Share these with your buddies on an outdoor excursion. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | DIPLOMATICOS No. 4 | Country: Cuba | Manufacturer: Habanos SA | Size: 5 x 42 | Filler: Cuba | Binder: Cuba | Wrapper: Cuba | | Panelist #1 | This cigar packed a lot of flavor for its size. This is obviously the work of a true cigar rolling artisan. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | Better than it looked, but my own tastes run toward the spicier stuff. It would go well with a light beer. MILDLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | Flavor trumps looks every time. The complex taste and pleasing aroma makes this one worth seeking out. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | This is the perfect size and strength for a lunchtime smoke, but give it a shot with an evening Scotch as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | GRAYCLIFF ESPRESSO PGX | Country: Bah | Manufacturer: Graycliff Cigar Co. | Size: 6 x 50 | Filler: Hon/Braz/CR | Binder: Ecu | Wrapper: Costa R. | | Panelist #1 | I could go a long time with these as my only cigars and be perfectly satisfied! Looked great, tasted better! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | This stogie’s “heavy” character makes it perfectly suited to smoke after a hearty steak dinner. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | I wouldn’t call it exciting, but it’s a good smoke for late afternoon, and unlikely to offend anyone. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | Pair this smoke with an aged Porterhouse and an Australian merlot. Perfect for the seasoned smoker. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
