 | | ROMEO Y JULIETA Belicoso | Country: Cuba | Manufacturer: Habanos SA | Size: 5 1/2 x 52 | Filler: Cuba | Binder: Cuba | Wrapper: Cuba | | Panelist #1 | I'm mostly a maduro smoker, but a mellow smoke of this caliber could get me to change my ways. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | I expected this cigar to be a strong, after-dinner smoke, but it was more suited to daytime and coffee. MILDLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | Put this one in the humidor for a while so it can mature into the good smoke it's striving to be. MILDLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | A beautiful cigar that calls out for a first-class bourbon. It's rich, balanced, and a pleasure to smoke. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | HAVANA SOUL 'A' | Country: USA | Manufacturer: Cigar King | Size: 9 1/4 x 49 | Filler: Nic | Binder: Nic | Wrapper: Nic | | Panelist #1 | A quality 'A' cigar, but needs more definitive direction: should be either milder or more robust. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | It took two-and-a-half hours to finish this one, and it delivered quite a buzz. It's not a cigar for wusses! RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | Freud would have a field day with this one, but it's a perfect smoke with a latte and a long road trip. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | Rare is the occasion when one has the time to smoke one of these; rare is the cigar that makes it worth it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | CARLOS TORANO CASA TORAŅO Churchill | Country: Hon | Manufacturer: Torano Cigars | Size: 7 x 54 | Filler: Hon/Nic | Binder: Indo | Wrapper: Ecu | | Panelist #1 | For seafood or chops, java or cognac, jeans or tux, light these up any time. An hour of enjoyable contemplation. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | A pleasant smoke which lacks some complexity. Some aging will help. Enjoyable with a vodka martini. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | As smooth as the Jack Daniel's Single Barrel I paired it with; this one will find a spot in my humidor. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | This beauty is a potential everyday cigar. Versatile and non-intrusive, I'll be keeping a few for the patio. RECOMMENDED |
 | | FONSECA SUN-GROWN CEDAR No. 4 | Country: DR | Manufacturer: MATASA | Size: 4 1/4 x 50 | Filler: DR/Nic/Peru | Binder: DR | Wrapper: Conn | | Panelist #1 | This cigar makes a fantastic 'quick smoke' (or two) before dinner. I wish I had more of these right now! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | My tongue was left with some stinging sensations, so I'd say this one could use a bit of aging. MILDLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | I smoked it down to the 'roach clip' stage, pairing it up perfectly with an Islay single malt. Give me more! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | This baby is built like a too-short Vegas showgirl, and it made a nice date. A good 'lighter-side' maduro. RECOMMENDED |
 | | FLOR DE GONZALEZ Presidente | Country: USA | Manufacturer: Flor de Gonzalez | Size: 7 1/2 x 50 | Filler: DR/Nic | Binder: Hon | Wrapper: Ecu | | Panelist #1 | A solid choice to accompany a light morning snack or an evening champagne. A light, fluffy debutante. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | A pleasant smoke, but too long for morning, and too light for after dinner. Try it with an evening ale. MILDLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | A good smoke overall; couldn't hurt to give it some time in the humidor to age the edges off the aftertaste. MILDLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | This mellow cigar can be enjoyed by novices and cigar lifers alike. It partners up well with a good Cabernet. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |

 | | PARTAGAS CIFUENTES BLEND Septiembre | Country: DR | Manufacturer: General Cigar Co. | Size: 5 1/2 x 49 | Filler: Nic | Binder: Nic | Wrapper: Hon | | Panelist #1 | Looks good, smokes good, tastes great. This after-dinner smoke reminds me of an old Cuban blend. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | Good, but not a cigar of greatness, this finished nicely. It would go well with some nachos and jalapenos. MILDLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | A good choice for afternoon or evening, making a great match with an aged rum or bourbon chaser. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | Definitely a post-meal cigar, but very easy on the throat. Aside from the burn problems, I'd like to have more. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | COSMO Bully | Country: Hon | Manufacturer: Topper Cigar Co. | Size: 4 1/2 x 54 | Filler: Hon | Binder: Hon | Wrapper: Conn | | Panelist #1 | A fine specimen that I would recommend to seasoned smokers. I can tell some aging went into this. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | The cigar performs pretty well, but the curly-head look screams like a younger sibling needing attention. MILDLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | A decent enjoyable cigar with a lot of pluses. If the price were right, I would buy these. Good lunch smoke. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | Like an old salt on shore leave, this cigar is a lot of fun to spend time with. A good afternoon smoke. RECOMMENDED |
 | | BUCANERO Crew Captain | Country: Nic | Manufacturer: Bucanero Cigars | Size: 5 x 50 | Filler: Nic/Hon | Binder: DR | Wrapper: Conn | | Panelist #1 | A good afternoon coffee smoke, just a bit too full-bodied for the morning. Also a nice partner to a good lager. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | This shortie is done before it gets too bitter, which is good. A fine starter cigar; could use some age. MILDLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | Despite stiffness in the draw and flaky ash, this little cigar packed great flavors that belied its look. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | A slow-burning, palate-challenging surprise in a plain wrapper. I would take these on my next golf outing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | RAMON ALLONES Gigante | Country: Cuba | Manufacturer: Habanos SA | Size: 7 5/8 x 49 | Filler: Cuba | Binder: Cuba | Wrapper: Cuba | | Panelist #1 | This cigar made for a very satisfying hour on the patio. Pair it with a single malt or full-bodied lager. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | A worthy smoke for cigar veterans, and veterans only. Prime your palate with some barbecue and whiskey. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | A very complex blend that starts off iffy, but finishes quite strong indeed. Save it for after a four-course feast. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | A flavorful masterpiece. Give yourself a good hour-and-a-half and break out the best XO cognac for this. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
