The Inaugural Le Cigar Noir, SMOKE's unique interactive cigar event, was held under the stars on Two Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills on May 1. Co-sponsored by Perlman, Pioneer & Co., a limited seating of 500 sold out immediately, with the waiting list for spots quickly outnumbering available tickets. Guests were treated to a collection of world-class wines and spirits, a selection of over two dozen premium cigars, and excellent food. The black-tie optional dinner was attended by industry leaders, who were on hand to chat with guests and answer questions. "Le Cigar Noir is unique because (unlike other cigar events) consumers have the opportunity to sit down and interact with the people who create the cigars they love" says host Aaron Sigmond. "Guests receive their cigars at the beginning of the event instead of having to scramble about like lunatics. At Le Cigar Noir the emphasis is on relaxation and quality."
