 | | SAVINELLI NICARAGUA RESERVE Toro | Country: Nic | Manufacturer: Savinelli USA | Size: 6 x 50 | Filler: Nic | Binder: Nic | Wrapper: Nic | | Panelist #1 | A well-made, well-balanced, quality cigar. At the right price, I would definitely purchase it. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | Looks can be deceiving. This one exceeded expectations. I’d like to have these on my next fishing trip. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | Don’t let the so-so looks decieve you. This is a fine cigar that I’d reach for in the early afternoon. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | This is a distinctive smoke; full-flavored but smooth and rich, and good for just about any time of day. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | CARLOS TORAÑO SIGNATURE COLLECTION Robusto | Country: DR | Manufacturer: Torano Cigars | Size: 5 x 52 | Filler: DR/Nic | Binder: Conn | Wrapper: Braz | | Panelist #1 | This cigar has a lot to offer the experienced smoker. I would both recommend it and buy it for myself. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | A very good cigar in all areas. On second thought, I’m not sure. Send me a box and I’ll try some more! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | I wouldn’t want to smoke this one in a suit, due to that flaky ash. I’d have it for an outdoor activity, though. MAY RECOMMEND | | Panelist #4 | These babies have got to be well-aged. A wonderful pairing with venison tenderloin and ruby port. RECOMMENDED |
 | | JOYA DE NICARAGUA Antaño 1970 Belicoso | Country: Nic | Manufacturer: SAG/Matasa | Size: 6 x 54 | Filler: Nic | Binder: Nic | Wrapper: Nic | | Panelist #1 | Perfect grades. I can’t wait to find out what this cigar is, so I can order myself a box or three! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | Not my kind of stick, but this one’s not half-bad. A couple of Black-and-Tans helped it out a bit. MAY RECOMMEND | | Panelist #3 | Do not have this before dinner. However, with a straight-up single malt, it’s a cigar lover’s treat. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | This powerhouse is rough around the edges, but it is very enjoyable matched up with the right drink. RECOMMENDED |
 | | GARO LIMITED EDITION MILLENIUM Hera | Country: DR | Manufacturer: Garo | Size: 6 1/2 x 52 | Filler: DR | Binder: DR | Wrapper: Nic | | Panelist #1 | Sometimes you run across a cigar that’s a pure pleasure. This is one that is sure to have mass appeal. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | Overall, a cigar of decent quality, good for after dinner, well-suited to a cognac or other good brandy. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | This one developed nicely. It’s a solid contender, and definitely tasted better than it looked. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | This cigar’s flavors rolled around nicely on my tongue. I would definitely keep a few of these around. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
 | | HABANA CUBA Habana X | Country: Nic | Manufacturer: Habana Cuba | Size: 5 3/4 x 55 | Filler: Nic | Binder: Nic | Wrapper: Nic | | Panelist #1 | Great construction, great taste. This is the kind of cigar you’ll happily spend an hour-and-a-half with. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | This is a late evening stick, good after a side of beef and an XO cognac. A great end to the day. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | A very balanced smoke; not one to smoke too early! I’d give them some more time in the humidor. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | Please tell me I don’t need a passport to get my hands on these. This is the only cigar your humidor needs! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |

 | | HOYO DE MONTEREY DARK SUMATRA Ebano | Country: Hon | Manufacturer: General/Villazon | Size: 6 x 45 | Filler: DR/Hon | Binder: Conn | Wrapper: Ecu | | Panelist #1 | This cigar developed into an elegant, interesting experience. More consistency in construction would help. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | This was a very good cigar that went ideally with a cup of dark, black coffee. The aroma was fantastic. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | I wouldn’t call this one great, but it was satisfying, and at the right price could make for a good daily smoke. MAY RECOMMEND | | Panelist #4 | The taste experience was great. If the draw were looser, I could see myself with a few boxes of these. RECOMMENDED |
 | | FUEGO CUBANO Bronze Edition Robusto | Country: Ecu | Manufacturer: Fuego Cubano | Size: 5 x 50 | Filler: DR | Binder: DR | Wrapper: Indo | | Panelist #1 | This is a good smoke to have with your buddies around, preferably over a round of single malt or cognac. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | Maybe some time lying down in the humidor would help. It doesn’t seem quite ready for prime time. FAIR | | Panelist #3 | This powerhouse is for big boys only. Enjoy it after a porterhouse with a Cabernet, single malt, or good rum. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #4 | This is a smoke suited to go with a nice drink at a local bar. I would certainly point these out to a friend. RECOMMENDED |
 | | REYES DRG Toro | Country: DR | Manufacturer: CTI Tobacco | Size: 6 x 50 | Filler: DR | Binder: DR | Wrapper: DR | | Panelist #1 | My new best friend! I’m going to buy a box and lock ‘em up for safekeeping. This one will age very well! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | I almost gave up on this one in the beginning, but those nice, changing flavors came through in the end. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | I see potential here with time. As it is, this is one I’d smoke while engaged in outdoor activities. MAY RECOMMEND | | Panelist #4 | If this well-made, tasty cigar were a beer, it would be a smokey porter with a huge, creamy head. RECOMMEND |
 | | LA CAYA Figurado | Country: DR | Manufacturer: Tabacalera La Caya | Size: 4 1/2 x 45 | Filler: DR | Binder: DR | Wrapper: Java | | Panelist #1 | The perfect cigar for when you need a quick hit. You’ll be happy to spend a half-hour with this cigar. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | This perfecto packs quite a punch for a small package, though I was looking for a little more complexity. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | This cigar’s even burn was its strong point. To me, the flavors just had too much going on for me to enjoy. FAIR | | Panelist #4 | This is a decent short smoke, with a blend that packs a lot of flavor. I would have this with a bourbon. RECOMMENDED |
 | | BOLIVAR Inmensa | Country: Cuba | Manufacturer: Habanos SA | Size: 6 3/4 x 43 | Filler: Cuba | Binder: Cuba | Wrapper: Cuba | | Panelist #1 | Imperfections and a rough start could not deter me from taking this ride again. A great, complex smoke. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #2 | Make sure you’ve got enough time to enjoy this one... preferably with a cognac or a peaty single malt. RECOMMENDED | | Panelist #3 | The flavor is there, but you have to wade through a tough draw and hot burn to get to it. Give ‘em time... MAY RECOMMEND | | Panelist #4 | Newbies might be scared off by this cigar’s kick-ass strength, but fans of strong cigars will appreciate it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |
