 | | FONSECA CUBANO LIMITADO Brevitas | Country: DR | Manufacturer: Matasa | Size: 4 1/2 x 42 | Filler: DR/Nic | Binder: DR | Wrapper: Hon | | Panelist #1 | Well-balanced despite its power, this actually could be an anytime cigar. I enjoyed it with espresso after lunch. 9.0 VERY GOOD | | Panelist #2 | A solid contender from start to finish! This cigar leans toward full flavor without being overpowering. 9.0 VERY GOOD | | Panelist #3 | This short smoke burns a little hot but its full-flavored character make it worth it all the way to the end. 9.0 VERY GOOD | | Panelist #4 | There was a lot going on with this cigar, lots of subtle flavors that could use some more aging time. 8.7 VERY GOOD |
 | | 601 MADURO Torpedo | Country: Nic | Manufacturer: United Tobacco | Size: 6 x 52 | Filler: Nic | Binder: Nic | Wrapper: Nic | | Panelist #1 | For the right price, I would keep a few of these around for hanging out or a poker night with the guys. 9.1 EXCELLENT | | Panelist #2 | Superb in its looks and its construction, this cigar’s flavors may need some time to develop complexity. 9.1 EXCELLENT | | Panelist #3 | The cigar would pair nicely with a good blended Scotch, but it’s even better as a lunch break smoke. 9.3 EXCELLENT | | Panelist #4 | The perfect cigar when a little spice is in order. I fired this one up for a ride in the car to the country. 9.1 EXCELLENT |
 | | CUESTA REY CENTRO FINO #55 | Country: DR | Manufacturer: JC Newman | Size: 6 1/2 x 55 | Filler: DR | Binder: DR | Wrapper: Ecu | | Panelist #1 | If I was this cigar’s maker I’d call it “Black Forest.” I love the flavor. Save it for dessert, with vanilla ice cream. 9.5 EXCELLENT | | Panelist #2 | I would certainly buy these and smoke them. I would also suggest them to any level of smoker. 9.3 EXCELLENT | | Panelist #3 | This is a good, slow-burning cigar to come home to at the end of the night. Just sit back and relax. 9.4 EXCELLENT | | Panelist #4 | This is a robust and pleasant-smelling cigar that keeps you under the radar in the no-smoking zone. 9.3 EXCELLENT |
 | | RAFAEL GONZALEZ Petit Corona | Country: Cuba | Manufacturer: Habanos S.A. | Size: 5 1/2 x 42 | Filler: Cuba | Binder: Cuba | Wrapper: Cuba | | Panelist #1 | Very strong, bordering on too strong. In my estimation it did not cross that line, making it a very good cigar. 9.0 VERY GOOD | | Panelist #2 | The flavors were spicy and mouth watering. It was so sharp at times that it did make me sweat. 9.1 EXCELLENT | | Panelist #3 | I would suggest that before smoking this you prepare yourself for the intensity of the flavors it brings. 9.1 EXCELLENT | | Panelist #4 | This is a big cigar in a small package. | | CIENFUEGOS Engine #5 | Country: DR | Manufacturer: Puros Indios | Size: 5 x 50 | Filler: DR | Binder: Nic | Wrapper: DR | | Panelist #1 | A nice cigar to have with a nice pale ale or pilsner, anything heavier could overpower the background flavors. 9.0 VERY GOOD | | Panelist #2 | While not my style, I would suggest it to anyone who likes a mild to medium-bodied smoke. 9.0 VERY GOOD | | Panelist #3 | It ran a bit hot towards the end, but otherwise a very good smoke. A nice afternoon smoke with my coffee. 9.1 EXCELLENT | | Panelist #4 | A medium-bodied cigar that is rolled to within an inch of its life. Obviously the work of an artist. 9.4 EXCELLENT |

A good everyday smoke for relaxing by the fire with a book. 9.1 EXCELLENT | | Panelist #2 | Fine construction, great aroma; with a little more age to sharpen the flavors, this one is a real contender. 8.6 VERY GOOD | | Panelist #3 | A lot of care went into the construction of this cigar.
