 | | NAT CICCO'S Robusto Rejects Candela | Country: DR | Manufacturer: Zander-Greg Cigars | Size: 5 1/2 x 46 | Filler: DR | Binder: DR | Wrapper: DR | | Comments: |
Candela wrappers aren't terribly common anymore; they haven't been since the 1970s. But that said, this was something really interesting to smoke. It's constructed rather well, performing more like a hand-rolled cigar rather than an average machine-made one, especially for the money. The draw didn't disappoint, and the burn was even all the way down. But how does it taste? First off, it's something different from the start. While candela can have a harsh, grassy, immature edge, this was mild and soft on the palate, as opposed to an outright punch. If you've got some golf to play before the snow sets in (or if you're lucky enough to be closer to the equator this winter), pick up a few of these often overlooked bad boys.

 | | TATIANA MOCHA Stobona | Country: Hon | Manufacturer: Miami Cigar & Co. | Size: 5 x 58 | Filler: Hon/Mex/Nic | Binder: Hon | Wrapper: Ecuador | | Panelist #1 | 1C 1R | | Comments: |
This is one smooth, oily, moist, and very dark cigar with a pre-light aroma this is quite possibly second to none-even the non-smokers in the office love the way the Tatiana smells. Though soft, this well rolled and lovely box-pressed stick manages to have some serious heft in hand. Once it's lit, you're regaled with strong mocha (no surprise there), chocolate, coffee, and hints of vanilla, which stay consistent and never overpower the bold tobacco tastes that make this several cuts above your average flavored cigar; in fact, it's safe to say this is a top quality cigar even without the flavors. For a flavorful treat, try this one with a Remy Martin-and-green-tea mix. Sounds odd, but it's worth it.
